In commenting on Psalm 119:116-119, Spurgeon has written, "God's justice in trading down and destroying the wicked is not distasteful to a holy mind; on the contrary, we love him for being angry with evil, and relieving the world of those who are given over to it.  A God without justice would be no God to a just man."

HONESTLY I HOPE YOU WILL AVAIL YOURSELVES OF THESE EXCELLENT BOOK OPPORTUNITIES.    

We here at THE BIBLE FOR TODAY are excited over the new books we have published these past few months. One that is scheduled to come off the press any day now is one written by Dr. D. A. Waite titled BOB JONES UNIVERSITY'S ERRORS ON BIBLE PRESERVATION--a Critique of Bible Preservation & the Providence of God (BFT#3259 @ $8.00+$4.00 S&H [136 pages, soft cover] ).   This is an answer to Bible Preservation and the Providence of God by two professors at BJU.  My husband has pointed out, within its pages, there are at least three major errors on Bible preservation in their writings.  The errors are on the following subjects:   the "Bible," on "Preservation," and the meaning of "Word."   When the authors of BPPG write that "the Word of God has been Preserved," they refer only to the preservation of the Bible's message, thoughts, ideas, concepts, truth, doctrine, or revelation, but not its original "Words."  These BJU authors deny that God's original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek "Words" have been preserved.  They claim preservation only for the message, the thoughts, the ideas, the concepts, the truth, the doctrine, or the revelation.    

By now you know about Dr. Waite's beautiful deep-red 731-page-HARDCOVER sermon-book called ROMANS: PREACHING VERSE BY VERSE (BFT#2906BK @ $25.00 + $5.00 S&H).  I am reading this myself as part of my morning devotions and have been blessed.  Others tell me the same thing.  An unusual feature in Dr. Waite's sermon books is that he prints out in full most of the Scripture verses that he alludes to.  Many authors do not do this.  This book is written for the average Christian's edification.  He is not trying to wow the reader with his knowledge.  As you meditate on these teachings, you will not get lost in big words and difficult concepts.    

LET ME QUOTE FROM THE BACK COVER OF ROMANS: PREACHING VERSE BY VERSE:

THE THEOLOGY OF SALVATION: Chapters four through eight of Romans tell of God's gracious salvation which He has provided for all mankind.  First, God considers all people in the world as sinners.  Second, God sent His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to take in His  own sinless body the sins of the world.  Third, God declares absolutely just and righteous all those sinners who accept and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour.  Fourth, God provides for those justified, righteous saints an eternal Home in Heaven.

FUNDAMENTALIST DECEPTION ON BIBLE PRESERVATION  (BFT#3234 @ $8.00+$4.00 S&H) was the book my husband wrote immediately prior to the Romans book.  Remember?  That 162-page book was the answer to Conley, Downey, Harding, Hutcheson, Minnick, Shaylor, and Ringold's book God's Word in Our Hands--The Bible Preserved for Us.  Their book explains the position of those BJU-influenced writers who claim their present "BIBLE"is NOT made up of "Words" but only "message, thoughts, ideas, concepts, truth, doctrine, or revelation."

WITH TEARS IN MY HEART by GERTRUDE G. SANBORN
