The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man
availeth much. James 5:16b
It has been a blessing to contact each one of our
missionaries, and we encourage you to do the same as well. We heard from
all of them and were blessed by their responses to our letters. Prayer is
vital to their ministry as well as ours and we encourage you to set aside
time to pray for our church and missionaries as you spend time with our
Lord. Look at Paul’s example to several of the churches:
Romans 1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with
my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention
of you always in my prayers; 2 Corinthians 1:11 Ye also
helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon
us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
Ephesians 1:15-16 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in
the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for
you, making mention of you in my prayers;
and many others.
