Episcopal News Service (ENS Hereafter) 21 January 2002 ANGLICAN
ARCHBISHOP CALLS FOR UNDERSTANDING OF HOMOSEXUALS (Edited by DCB)
(Johannesburg Sunday Times) The Archbishop "of the Anglican church in
Southern Africa, has asked its members to reflect upon their attitudes
towards homosexuality.
In an eight-page discussion document on human sexuality sent out to
members of the Church of the Province of Southern Africa" the Archbishop
"warned that the issue is threatening to divide their church." The
Archbishop’s action "stems from a resolution taken at the Anglican synod
in Bloemfontein last October, when some participants argued that the
church's openly gay clergy needed to be officially recognized. In South
Africa the church also faced a potential clash with the constitution,
which gives same-sex couples the right to marry." According to the
Archbishop "more traditional elements in the church were unable to adjust
to a growing acceptance of homosexuals as practicing Anglicans and
believed that ‘somehow the faith is at stake.’"
*Editor’s Comment: The South African Archbishop and the South African
constitution is wrong and the Bible is right! Leviticus 18:22 "Thou shalt
not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." Romans 1:27
"And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned
in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is
unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which
was meet."

ENS January 21, 2003-(Edited by DCB) MLK JR. DAY SERVICE DRAWS 3,200 TO
WASHINGTON NATIONAL
CATHEDRAL (NCC News) "An estimated 3,200 people filled the Washington
National Cathedral January 20 to pray for a peaceful resolution of the
Iraq crisis. Afterward, worshipers marched down
Massachusetts Avenue with candles and ‘War Is Not the Answer’ placards
to take that message to the White House."
"The Martin Luther King, Jr., Day Prayer Service for Peace and Justice
focused on the connection between war and poverty."
The Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington (DC), John Bryson
Chane, prayed "Before there were Jews, Christians and Muslims, there was
Abraham! And we must be reminded of that shared thread of monotheism, a
thread that must not be broken by indiscriminate violence, terrorism,
religious intolerance, racism and the desire of some to claim religion as
the centerpiece of their political and
national agendas. Help us, creator God to repent of our warring ways...
Help the elected, or self appointed, leaders of the world to end their
rhetoric that demonizes and dehumanizes others within the global
community."
Bob Edgar, general secretary of the National Council of Churches (NCC)
had a "series of readings and meditations on peace, racism/poverty and
global community."
Editor’s Comment: Psalm 106:17 "The earth opened and swallowed up
Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram."

WorldNetDaily.com January 17, 2003 (Edited by DCB) CORPORATIONS PROUD
OF 'GAY' POLITICS MAGAZINE HONORS 5 FIRMS FOR PROMOTING HOMOSEXUALITY
The January issue of Out magazine "is honoring" five corporations for
"their aggressive sponsorship of homosexuality and promotion of ‘gay’ and
transgender politics."
The five corporations are "Anheuser-Busch, Kodak, ChevronTexaco, Wells
Fargo and Philip Morris Companies Inc."
Editor’s Comment: 2Pe 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha
into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto
those that after should live ungodly;
Dubbo Daily Liberal 23 January 2003 TEAM SPREADING MESSAGE ABOUT SEXUAL
DISEASE (Edited by DCB) "If you're enjoying a drink at the pub in the next
few weeks and someone approaches you wanting to talk about sexual health
it's not a pick-up line, but an attempt to stop the spread of chlamydia in
Dubbo.
A team from Macquarie Area Health Service (MAHS) will be visiting local
hotels during the next six weeks to discuss the disease with young people
in a friendly and informal way so they are aware it is one of the dangers
associated with unprotected sex.
The team will be handing out coasters with the sexual health hotline
number and free condoms."
*Editor’s Comment: The following is the letter I wrote to the editor:
"The team from Macquarie Area Health Service (MAHS) means well and
believes they are doing the right thing I am sure. However, this is not
the first time health workers have sought to inform and educate people
concerning the risk of "unprotected sex" and the benefits of "safe sex".
Who really knows how much taxpayer’s money is spent on such programmes?
Go to www.health.act.gov.au/chlamydia and
download Fact Sheet No. 1. Under heading: How
can Chlamydia be avoided? you will read one way of preventing Chlamydia is
"limiting the number of sexual partners."
Good advice from the health department but the health department needs
to go further if they really desire to stop Chlamydia. To eventually
eliminate Chlamydia and other sexually transmitted diseases we must limit
the number of sexual partners to one man and one woman united together
till death do them part, monogamy. This means parents (father and mother)
teach their children by word and example that marriage is honourable and
therefore no pre-marital sex and when married no adultery. This advice may
seem prudish and old fashioned to those who do not agree but it is advice
that will keep you (1) physically and (2) emotionally healthy.
Monogamy and or abstinence guarantees sexually
transmitted diseases will eventually be stopped. That means more
tax dollars to be used for essentials!"

ENS January 21, 2003 EPISCOPALIANS WORK AS WELL AS PRAY FOR CHURCH
UNITY (Edited by DCB)"In the days leading up to this year's celebration of
the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity January 18-25, two teams of
Episcopalians joined representatives of other Christian communions at an
interdenominational seminary on the campus of a Baptist university in
Birmingham, Alabama, in the continuing search for the unity of the
church."
"The ministry task force of Churches Uniting in Christ (CUIC) had been
invited to hold its January meeting at Beeson Divinity School on the
Samford University campus by Dr. Patricia Outlaw of the African Methodist
Episcopal Church, a faculty member at
Beeson and a member of the task force."
The nine members of the CUIC are "the African Methodist Episcopal
Church, the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, the Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ), the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, the
Episcopal Church, the International Council of Community Churches, the
Presbyterian Church USA, the United Church of
Christ and the United Methodist Church."
*Editor’s Comment: Sadly the CUIC, NCC and other such organizations
"are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward,
but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness." Mt
23:27.

Sydney Morning Herald (SMH hereafter) 24 January 2003 TROOP DEPLOYMENT
OBJECTIONS MOUNT (Edited by DCB) "The Uniting Church in Australia has
added its voice to community opposition to the federal government's
decision to deploy troops to the Middle East.
The organisation's president Reverend James Haire said the move took
Australia further away from peace and closer to war." He said "The
Australian people have not been consulted, nor has our parliament had a
chance to debate the issue."
A "news poll this week found 61 per cent of Australians opposed
Australian involvement in any US-led military action against Iraq."
*Editor’s Comment: I am almost 100% sure that if 61% of Australians
backed our troops being deployed the apostate Uniting Church would still
voice opposition against it.
WorldNetDaily.com January 23, 2003 TROUBLE IN THE HOLY LAND -
MUSLIM-CHRISTIAN 'HUMAN SHIELDS' IN IRAQ? PALESTINIAN PRIEST WHO PRAISES
SUICIDE ATTACKS VOWS TO FORM TEAM (Edited by DCB) "A Palestinian Christian
leader who was sacked as his church's official spokesman continues to
praise Muslim suicide bomb attacks and has lauded church members who are
teaming with Muslims to form human shields to defend Iraq."
The Greek Orthodox priest Father 'Atallah Hanna has said he encourages
"our youth to participate in the resistance, to carry out martyrdom
attacks, and to participate in removing the occupation." He also has said
he does "not believe in so-called 'peace with Israel' because peace cannot
be made with Satan." He has openly said "Israel is the greatest Satan." He
has "called for joint Islamic-Christian operations to interfere with the
imminent U.S. attack on Iraq and liberate Palestine from ‘the
[Mediterranean] sea to the [Jordan] river.’"
Hanna wants to "put together a Christian delegation that will go to
Iraq to serve as a human shield against the anticipated war." Hanna says
there is absolutely no "concession on [even] a grain of the land of our
precious homeland. Just as Ramallah, Gaza, Nablus and Jenin are
Palestinian cities, so are Haifa, Nazareth, Jaffa, Ramle, Lod, Beersheba,
Safed and others Palestinian cities. We have not relinquished and we will
not relinquish our historic right, and we will not agree to any concession
on these cities. These are Palestinian cities that were occupied in 1948."
He believes the Jews are foreigners in the land and have "no right to
live or settle in it. They should go somewhere else in the world to
establish their state and their false entity."
Hanna has said that "What was taken by force will be restored only by
force." Hanna declares to fight is the obligation of every Palestinian
Christian and Muslim.
*Editor’s Comment: To Jacob God said in Genesis 28: 13 "...I am the
LORD God of Abraham..., and the God of Isaac: the land
whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed."
Genesis 35:10, 12 "And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name
shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name:
and he called his name Israel. And the land which I gave
Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will
I give the land." "As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the
Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day."
"...and Jebusi, which is Jerusalem.... This is the inheritance of the
children of Benjamin according to their families." Joshua 15:63; 18:28. 1
Kings 11:36 "And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant
may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have
chosen me to put my name there.
