Purpose: To inform and warn God's people of religious, socal, and political events in today's world.

Lamentations 3:21-24 “This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.”  As dismal as the times (financially, politically and religiously) may seem, let us recall the mercy and compassion of our great God and Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ, for they are never stale or outdated but new and fresh every morning!

Sadly, the month of March saw a young aboriginal man we became acquainted with at McDonald’s commit suicide. He had some serious legal issues in his life which he did not want to live up to and one Friday night took his life by hanging himself. We attended his funeral which was one of the largest we have attended here in Dubbo with well over one thousand in attendance. Unfortunately the Anglican minister did not give the gospel but led one to believe the boy was in a better place, heaven, and that someday all those in attendance would be there with him. However, this tragedy did lead to David later being able to talk to (the in word is counsel) three young people from McDonald’s. Not surprisingly these young people are typical of all unsaved who are ignorant of the way of salvation.  Nevertheless, we pray the Lord will use something David said to bring about repentance and their trusting Christ for their eternal salvation.

We continue the three and one-half hours on the radio each week. The radio committee has initiated several projects to make the community more aware of what programmes are on the local station. Hopefully, these initiatives will obtain more listeners to tune into our programmes, CrossTalk and The Gospel Hour.

Matthew 19:14 “...Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me...” In March Pam began a Sunday school class for pre-school children and of course the first student was our own three year old (in August) grandson, Caleb.  He is like a sponge soaking up the Bible stories and songs.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and financial support. With the recent G20 meeting in London and all the talk of “stimulating” the world’s economy and free trade the reality of Revelation 13:17 which says that “...no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” appears much closer. Praise the Lord we who know Christ as our Saviour will not be here when that happens. Continue “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” Titus 2: 13.

Your brother and sister in Christ,

David & Pam
