http://www.bpnews.net/bpnews.asp?id=27650 NEW BAPTIST HYMNAL SONG TITLES
RELEASED 18 March 2008 (Edited by DCB) "The mystery is over. The songs
going in the new Baptist Hymnal have been chosen." What songs are
included in this New Baptist Hymnal? Some songs included in this New
Hymnal are, Shout to the Lord by Darlene Zschech and songs by Travis
Cottrell.
According to Mike Harland, director of the Southern Baptist LifeWay
Worship, "there is a good mix of hymns, worship music and praise
choruses." Travis Cottrell’s http://traviscottrellministries.blogspot.com/
says he travels "…with Beth Moore" and leads "…worship at her Living
Proof Live conferences". Darlene Zschech, according to
http://www2.hillsong.com/church/default.asp?pid=10 is the Worship Pastor
at Hills Christian Life Centre in Castle Hill, Sydney, Australia. One
might criticize the Southern Baptists for their choice of the writers
and songs they have chosen, but sadly, many of the "independent"
Baptists have gone the same way in music!
Editor’s Comment: We need more "children of Issachar, which were men
that had understanding of the times" 1Chronicles 12:32. That old serpent
the devil is using today’s "Christian" music to help build the future
world religious ecumenical organization of the coming tribulation!

WOMEN 'MISTREATED BY MERCY MINISTRIES' 17 March 2008 (Edited by DCB) The
Hills Christian Life Centre (also known as Hillsong)
is the church where Darlene Zschech, writer of Shout to the Lord, is
worship pastor. Hillsong is a member of the Assemblies of God and
one of Hillsong’s ministries listed on their web site is Mercy
Ministries. According to a Sydney Morning Herald’s investigation, "Young
women suffering mental illness were treated with Bible studies and
exorcisms as part of a secretive ministry linked to Gloria Jean's
Coffees and the Hillsong Church." According to the paper’s
investigation, these young women "…signed over months of their lives to
Mercy Ministries, which offered them little or no medical or psychiatric
care…" Three former "residents" of Mercy Ministries "…have blown the
whistle on the program, claiming they were independent young women when
they entered, but came out broken and suicidal, believing - as ministry
staff had told them - that they were possessed by demons and that Satan
controlled them." Since leaving Mercy Ministries, they have been
"…forced to undergo years of intense psychological and psychiatric care
to overcome their treatment at the ministry."
Mercy Ministries executive manager, Judy Watson, told the Sydney
Morning Herald that "Mercy Ministries staff address the issues that the
residents face from a holistic client-focused approach; physical,
mental, emotional. The program is voluntary and all aspects are
explained comprehensibly to the residents and no force is used."
Editor’s comment: Read the following from Mercy Ministries own web
site.
http://www.mercyministries.com.au/pages/default.asp?pid=95 (Edited by
DCB) On this web site one reads, now deceased "Mother" Teresa, saying,
"The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger
for bread". In her book A SIMPLE PATH, page 55, Teresa wrote, "I’ve
always said we should help a Hindu become a better Hindu, a Muslim
become a better Muslim, a Catholic become a better Catholic (Underlining
Added)."
Clicking on the link "Events" leads to http://www.mercyministries.com.au/pages/default.asp?pid=93#1
where is posted "The Black & White Ball This year will be Mercy
Ministries' 8th Annual Black & White Ball..."
"Guests will enjoy pre-dinner drinks at the Hilton Sydney in the
Grand Ballroom Foyer, followed by an evening of magnificent food and
wine, superb entertainment and life changing testimonies (Underlining
added)."
Editor’s Comment: Ecumenism and worldliness are alive and well! 1
John 4: 5 "They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world,
and the world heareth them."

18 March 2008 - $50 FOR A CUPPA AND RECIPE TO DIE (Edited by DCB)
Euthanasia is alive and well (pardon the pun)! "THE meeting began like
any other senior citizens' gathering on a sunny weekday afternoon. There
was tea and coffee being poured under portraits of the Queen, but this
time it was being served with images of lethal drug kits and
instructions on suffocation bags." Over 100 elderly people packed a
senior citizens centre in the Australian state of Victoria "…to learn
about peaceful, reliable and cost-effective ways to take their own
lives." The introductory lecture is free but the following workshop was
$50. Before the seminar began a disclaimer had to be signed "…that
declared they would not use the information ‘to advise, counsel or
assist in the act of suicide’".
Editor’s Comment: Abortion is legalized murder and the legalizing of
murder via euthanasia is just a matter of time. Is the putting down of a
human life the same as putting down an animal, say a dog? The Genesis
account says "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living
soul" Genesis 2:7. Also in Genesis 1:26 "God said, Let us make man in
our image, after our likeness". Man is unique of all God’s creation and
four times in Scripture we read, "thou shalt not kill", Exodus 20: 13;
Deuteronomy 5: 17; Matthew 5: 21; and Roman 13: 9. Of all life on earth,
human life is sacred! However, those who favour euthanasia speak of the
"quality" of life rather than the sanctity of life! Listen to Job when
it is said "…he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he
sat down among the ashes" Job 2:8. Job’s quality of life was not
what he or we would desire but then in steps Mrs. Job, and she says, "Dost
thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die" Job 2: 9. It
seems Mrs. Job was looking at the quality rather than the sanctity of
life! However, Job had some spiritual insight that his wife lacked and
he replied, "Thou speakest as one of the foolish women (the
pro-euthanasia crowd) speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the
hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin
with his lips" Job 2: 10.
