“An endocrinologist, a psychiatrist, a family counsellor, a State Government watchdog and a lawyer acting for the child all supported the plan.”

http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,23764716-5001028,00.html 27 May 2008 (Edited by DCB) - Dubai police “…have arrested several men and women for cross-dressing in what they said was a campaign to preserve the social values of the cosmopolitan Gulf Arab trade and tourism hub.” The Dubai Police Chief said that it has been “…noted an emerging trend of men dressed as women and vice versa in the UAE markets and streets.” The Police Chief “urged the Social Affairs Ministry to study the reasons behind the trend, which he said could be a consequence of mixed-sex schools.” It is noted that, “Tourists may wear bikinis and drink cocktails at hotel nightclubs but sex outside marriage is banned as is homosexual behaviour.”

Most of these murders are successful but recently a baby boy in the United Kingdom defied “…twin death sentences from abortion and genetics.” Jodie Percival “…carries a gene which triggers multicystic dysplastic kidney (MCDK) - a condition where cysts grow on the kidneys of an unborn baby. The condition is fatal when it affects both kidneys; however patients who have MCDK in one kidney can live normal lives, provided the other is healthy.” At 8 weeks, she decided to have the baby aborted and was totally “…unaware that her child had survived the abortion until she felt him move in her womb months later. A doctor's scan then confirmed Percival was 19 weeks pregnant.” Baby Finley Crampton “was born three weeks premature, at 6lb 3oz, with just minor kidney scarring; doctors expect he will live a normal healthy life.”

http://www.christianpost.com/article/20080602/32631_So._Baptists_Stand_Against_IMB%27s_Tongues%2C_Baptism_Guidelines.htm 2 June 2008 (Edited by DCB) The Southern Baptist Convention’s (SBC) International Mission Board (IMB) has received a signed statement from former SBC missionaries, former IMB trustees and SBC pastors requesting the removal of any “…restrictions from candidates who speak privately in tongues and have been baptized by immersion following conversion, but was not baptized by a proper administrator or another Baptist who believes in eternal security.” The chairman of the IMB trustee’s mission personnel committee, Paul Chitwood, said “the rapid spread of neo-Pentecostalism and its pressure exacted on new churches in various regions of the world warrants a concern for the clear Baptist identity of our missionary candidates.” Chitwood also related that “the diversity of denominational backgrounds among missionary candidates requires a clear baptism guideline to guide the work of our candidate consultants as they consider the qualification of candidates.” Former SBC missionary and now SBC president hopeful, William L. Wagner, “…doesn't believe the trustees' action was appropriate.” He said he believes the trustees’ action had “…too much political reasoning involved in the decision. We as Baptists need to put politics aside and get back to our main task of winning people and making them disciples.”
