This past summer during 14-17 July "…about 250 teens and 20-somethings spent their two-week stay in the South American nation preaching the gospel and ministering healing and deliverance in dozens of churches." As these young people head back to their homes they will be talking about "…a platform shoe no longer needed because the owner’s leg had grown out to match the other, the images of parents weeping as their children receive healing…"

These activists are "…demanding the Boy Scouts open their ranks to practicing homosexuals and atheists, the group also apparently seeks the admission of girls to the organization." The "Scouting For All's mission statement say it is ‘to influence the Boy Scouts of America to serve and include as participating members all youth and adult leaders, regardless of their spiritual beliefs, gender, or sexual orientation.’"

www.dailytelegraph.news.com.au 28 September 2005 SUPERDOME VIOLENCE 'EXAGGERATED' Edited by DCB) "MOST of the stories of murder and gang violence at New Orleans' Superdome and Convention Centre following Hurricane Katrina were false or greatly exaggerated, according to newspapers which conducted investigations into the reports. The Times-Picayune, a New Orleans newspaper, and The Los Angeles Times published the results this week of separate probes into events at the Superdome and Convention Center and both determined that reports of violence at the hurricane shelters were wildly overstated.

‘As the fog of warlike conditions in Hurricane Katrina's aftermath has cleared, the vast majority of reported atrocities committed by evacuees have turned out to be false, or at least unsupported by any evidence, according to key military, law enforcement, medical and civilian officials in positions to know,’ The Times-Picayune said."

www.dailytelegraph.news.com.au 26 September 2005 MP'S SECRET (Edited by DCB) "THE NSW Government gets its first openly gay female MP as Penny Sharpe joins the Upper House." This new MP is "…a 34-year-old mother-of-two" and "…has never kept her sexuality a secret and is in a long-term relationship." When asked how her children were conceived she said it "…was no one's business." According to Sharpe "…it was only right in these days of homosexual rights that a lesbian was a member of Parliament."

Editor’s Comment: Romans 1:26 "…even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature."

The following is an edited portion of an email received 28 September 2005 from a local pastor who is seeking to further the ecumenical movement in our city. "In August 2000 God woke me during the night with a vision that lasted for approximately half an hour. I have shared this with some of you. The first picture was an oval filled with 10,000 people worshipping the Lord which I now believe to be Apex Oval. That picture then cleared away to reveal a large wagon wheel with a huge hub in the centre. The hub had the name of Jesus written upon it. I found out later that year that Dubbo is called the Hub of the West. There was a centre plate which was split in sections. These sections were the individual churches in town. Spokes were connected to the hub and the wheel rim. The spokes were the work of the Holy Spirit and the rim was the unified prayers of the saints of Dubbo. As that wheel turned it touched many towns surrounding Dubbo as the combined churches of Dubbo worked as one voice to see the Central West impacted with the Gospel. In 2001 Chris …... a representative from ….a missionary organization in Australia, came to our city…. He sought me out and informed me that God had shown him the same picture in a dream and that this nation was going to be touched and impacted by the move of God coming to Dubbo. I now submit this to you all."

Editor’s Comment: In the Sword and Trowel April 1887 Spurgeon wrote concerning the Down Grade Controversy of his day that "…where ministers and Christian churches have held fast to the truth that the Holy Scriptures have been given by God as an authoritative and infallible rule of faith and practice, they have never wandered very seriously out of the right way." But when visions are accepted as truth along with Scripture again quoting Spurgeon from the same article, "…all kinds of errors and mischiefs have been the result."
