The study, funded by the Alameda County Community Development Agency, also estimated that about 10,000 birds—nearly all protected by the migratory bird act—are being whacked every year at Altamont.” Oh well, at least they were killed by a clean green energy source!

Here are the views of some of the youth interviewed. Many told the reporter “they would strike back should their parents take to them with a wooden spoon.” One said he “would ‘flog them back’ should they resort to the wooden spoon with him.” Another said “he would hit back.”  Another little darling said “he’d take the person to court should they do anything to him.” At least one boy said he had “experienced the wooden spoon, but not since one particular episode” when his nana had broke the last one on him. He went on to say that “It depended on the child, but there might be nothing wrong with it at times.” Move that boy to the head of the class!

The legislation also encourages schools to conduct exercises or programs that focus on Milk’s contributions.” If God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah how long does California have?

THAT'LL BE $40 20 October, 2009 (Edited by DCB) – Believe it or not in Australia “Sunshine Coast drivers will be hit with $40 fines for leaving their cars unlocked at the beach this summer.” The paper said the police are getting “tough on offending motorists” but the paper did not say whether the police were getting tough on the criminal or not. Probably most drivers on the Sunshine Coast do not know it but “Under section 213 of the 1995 Transport Operations Act motorists are required to lock their car if they move more than three meters from it.”
