Purpose: To inform and warn God's people of religious social, and political events in today's world. http://www.christianpost.com/article/20091020/no-problem-with-vatican-new-move-for-anglicans-says-williams/index.html NO PROBLEM WITH VATICAN'S NEW MOVE FOR ANGLICANS, SAYS WILLIAMS 20 October, 2009 (Edited by DCB) – There is not a lot of difference between the high church of England and the Roman Catholics so it really comes as no surprise when “The worldwide leader of Anglican community said the Vatican’s new move to ease Anglicans to enter Catholic Church is only part of a routine relationship between the two churches and the church has no problem.” The RC pope “has created a new church structure for Anglicans who want to join the Catholic Church, responding to the disillusionment of some Anglicans over the ordination of women and the election of openly gay bishops.” This “new church structure” “allows for the appointment of leaders, usually bishops who will come from the ranks of unmarried former Anglican priests, to oversee communities of former Anglicans who become Catholics and recognize the pope as their leader.” Why Anglicans would leave one organization over “the election of openly gay bishops” to join another organization that has paid out billions because of homosexuality activity within its organization is beyond comprehension, but that is the unsaved mind and heart! http://au.christiantoday.com/article/radical-muslims-calls-for-sharia-law-to-rule-britain/7146.htm RADICAL MUSLIMS CALLS FOR SHARIA LAW TO RULE BRITAIN 21 October, 2009 (Edited by DCB) – Are they really radical? “A radical Muslim group has called for the full implementation of Islamic ‘Sharia’ law all over Britain, and has plan to hold a public rally on 31 October to press for the demand.” Islam4UK has stated on their website that Muslims “have had enough of democracy and man-made law and the depravity of the British culture” and are therefore urging all Muslims in Britain “to come and participate in a march dubbed ‘March 4 Shari’ah’.” This demonstration has been denounced by the politicians and other Muslims such as the Islamic Society of Britain. Their spokesman is quoted saying “99.999 per cent of Muslims despise these people. This only serves to fuel racial tensions.” There may be some denouncing this right now but be assured the UK has not heard the last of this cry from Islam for Shariah Law! http://au.christiantoday.com/article/acl-backs-islamic-council-on-sharia-courts/7140.htm ACL BACKS ISLAMIC COUNCIL ON SHARIA COURTS 20 October, 2009 (Edited by DCB) – In Australia the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL) has “welcomed a decision by the Islamic Council of Victoria to reject a push within their ranks for Sharia courts in Victoria to handle disputes over divorce, child access, wills and the like.” The ACL’s Managing Director, Jim Wallace, “said that the accommodation of a parallel system of Sharia law in this way would be rejected by most Australians, and risked disadvantaging Muslim women who might feel pressured into going before these courts even if they came off worse.” Romans 13:11 “...for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed”. |
