Art Wilkerson, “sponsored a ‘Lest We Forget Hymn Sing’ at the church on a recent Sunday afternoon. About 50 people attended, mostly members of the church. But several denominations were represented, from Pentecostal to Roman Catholic.” (Emphasis added)  Wilkerson said “The messages of the old hymns made us what we are” and those “hymns gave us an avenue to express our joy in worship and grief in loss. There is nothing wrong with the songs of praise that speak to today's generation; this new generation must also be able to express their faith through their music and worship. The new songs of praise should not replace the old hymns of faith any more than the new members replace the older.”  Deep River’s new pastor, Ron Buche “was involved in praise music at a church in Valparaiso before becoming pastor here. He said the new contemporary gospel music is popular with people in their 20s and 30s.” Buche said he has “a very good praise leader” and has asked “her to be sensitive and include all ranges of music. We sing some of the old songs, too.”

Editor’s Comment: Daniel 3: 10 “every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image.” There is all kinds of music being played in churches today and people are bowing down in worship but who are they worshipping?            http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/11/21/ngay21.xml  GAY RIGHTS LAW 'BEING FORCED THROUGH’ 22 November 2006 (Edited by DCB) United Kingdom “Controversial new gay rights laws are being bulldozed through parliament despite protests from Churches and other groups. The Sexual Orientation Regulations, which the Government appeared to have dropped a few weeks ago, are being fast‑tracked in Northern Ireland, using direct rule powers.”  These laws “could include being turned away from a hotel or a shop but might also require schools to give equal prominence in sex education classes to both homosexual and heterosexual practices.”  The new laws would also allow a homosexual sue if they feel “their ‘dignity has been violated’ or that they have been subjected to a ‘'humiliating or offensive environment’.” For example if “a gay man who went into a Christian bookshop could object on harassment grounds if there were books or posters promoting traditional families and marriage.”

Editor’s Comment: Fortunately, as far as I know, we in Australia have been spared this programme thus far. However, this ungodly programme will eventually reach our shores but one thing is sure, other programmes far worse will follow for Paul told Timothy that “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse…” 2Timothy 3:13 and the “imagination of the thoughts” of their hearts are “only evil continually” Genesis 6: 5.

Editor’s Comment: The goal of Satan is to rid this world of the Bible believing Christian for “He was a murderer from the beginning” and this environmental issue may be just one of his means to that end. Go along with the programme or pay the price, which is your life!

This included “sharpshooters on the roof of the arrivals building and troops guarding the airport.” Then there were “About 3,000 police” that were “posted in the Turkish capital to prevent any protests.” If that is a religion of peace may we never be subjected to a religion of violence!

Keith Ellison has announced that, rather than taking his oath of office on the Bible in deference to American tradition, he will take his oath on the Koran. This is unprecedented in any form—Jews, Mormons, Deists, secularists and atheists alike have always taken the oath on the Bible, regardless of their religious beliefs, because it is America’s choice. Elected officials serve America—or at least they used to. Obviously, after the antics of Muslims in recent years (protesting Mohammed cartoons, the Pope’s remarks, and the like), no one dares ‘offend’ a Muslim by not allowing him to swear upon his favorite book. So if you start seeing (D‑Mecca) after Ellison’s name, you’ll know why.”

Warren said “the church cannot stand on the sidelines of the AIDS crisis, but must do what it can to ‘help the helpless’.” Warren had many high flying personalities at the summit of which one was “the recently sworn‑in U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator, Mark Dybul ‑‑ who is homosexual...”

Editor’s Comment: First it was Jerry Falwell and the Moral Majority and now it is Rick Warren and his HIV AIDS INITIATIVE. How many evangelicals will follow Guru Rick and his ilk down this dead end path? Jesus’ command to the churches is “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” Mark 16: 15.

Editor’s Comment: How can those evangelicals who have been bowing at the altar of Warren continue to follow him when he allows a pro‑abortionist and another man who is a homosexual to stand behind his pulpit? What type of confederacies will we see next? 2Chronicles 19:2 “And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly...”

Mr Alvares added that Brazil hoped to avoid the quality problems it encountered in a lot of 12 million condoms delivered as part of its last large order – for 460 million condoms – placed in 2004.”  “But AIDS program coordinator Mariangela Simao said the disease remains a concern in Brazil, especially after fresh data showed a surge in the number of cases among people over age 50, who are having more sex because of anti‑impotence drugs. Infection among men from 50 to 59 jumped to nearly 30 cases per 100,000 from 18, while infection among women in the same age category rose above 17 cases per 100,000 from six.”

Editor’s Comment: People who live their lives in disregard to God’s morality are just “receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet” Romans 1: 27. Sadly their immorality does often affect the innocent as well.
