Yes, this made it in the news. Mary Jo Coady grew up Roman Catholic and has recently separated from her husband, had her work hours cut and moved to a new apartment. In spite of these emotional events she believes “life is going to be good” because an image of Jesus has appeared, where else but on her iron. Yes, on her iron! She “first noticed the image...when she walked into her daughter's room. The brownish residue on the bottom of the iron looks like the face of a man with long hair.” She isn’t alone in her belief as her two teenage daughters “agree that the image looks like Jesus and is proof that ‘he's listening.’” She will keep the iron in the closet and buy a new one with the hopes that her iron story “will inspire others during the holidays”.  John 20:29 “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

Current Biology recently published research that says humans feeding blackcap birds “can alter their migratory pattern, which may cause them to develop into a separate species.” However, Steve Cooper, Associate Professor of the South Australia Museum says the physical difference “between the two populations was triggered by the migratory divide, which caused the two populations to breed in isolation.” They are no longer interbreeding as they were previously but are now “only mating within the same pool of individuals who are on the same migrating route”. Even though the two blackcap populations “have distinct genetic and physiological differences, they're not a separate species.” Cooper added that they are “evolving into potentially different species, [but] the isolation of the two groups isn't complete, it's a very early phase.” In the end is it just variation or is it truly macroevolution? I go with the former. Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

Of course the King James Bible is “known to be deficient due to discovery of more authentic sources”. The “more authentic sources” these would be translators are speaking of would be Westcott and Hort’s favourite manuscripts Vaticanus and Sinaiticus. In fact “In their margin, WH omitted the first two-thirds of Luke 23: 34.”[1] The people in this “Conservative Bible Project” should read Dean John William Burgon’s Revision Revised and Dr. Charles V. Turner’s Biblical Bible Translating before they begin tinkering with the Word of God! Revelation 22:19 “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

During another workshop an activist asked 14 year-old students, ‘Spit or swallow?… Is it rude?’” The story is too gross to comment on any further. While the American people still have the liberty to do so they need to bombard their local congressional representatives to have this man dismissed immediately! It is still true that “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” Proverbs 14:34.
