Standing unashamedly for the King James Bible

WHO IS THE SAVIOUR? http://liveearth.org/climate_crisis.php Those who believe the Bible say "Jesus saves" but not those of the global warming religion. They say that with the rising of global temperatures glaciers will melt and species will be decimated and it is up to each one of us to save ourselves! Listen as they preach that "…it's not just plants, animals or ‘the environment’ that must be saved -- it's us." "Only we can Save Our Selves from our climate crisis. And we must" (underlining added).

Editor’s Comment: I believe in climate change and in global warming. The Bible says in Revelation 16: 8, 9 "And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory." Psalm 55:16 "As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me."

2Corinthians 2:17 "FOR WE ARE NOT AS MANY, WHICH CORRUPT THE WORD OF GOD…" "The Earth Bible has been developed by a team of scholars from Adelaide, South Australia. In this significant new series, writers from around the world read the Bible from the perspective of justice for Earth. Ecojustice principles are used as guidelines as they ask questions of the text: Does a given text value or de-value Earth? Is the voice of Earth heard or suppressed? Are humans portrayed as 'rulers' over Earth or kin with Earth? Does Earth suffer unjustly?"

Editor’s Comment: Note how they have capitalized "Earth". These are they of whom God speaks in Romans 1:25 saying "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator…"

WHAT THE UN THINKS OF CHRISTIANITY. http://www.un-ngls. org/documents/publications.en/agenda21/12.htm The United Nations is not a friend of the Christian Gospel. Why do I say that? The UN says that "Before the advent of colonization and of Christianity and Islam, the African lived in harmony with nature." But when the white man arrived and especially the missionary, things changed. "Missionaries who trooped to Africa alongside the colonial masters discouraged traditional practices such as the worshipping of rivers, mountains, and trees, which they described as idolatry and heathen."

Editor’s Comment: 1 Thessalonians 1: 9 "For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God."

"MARK THEM WHICH CAUSE DIVISIONS AND OFFENCES CONTRARY TO THE DOCTRINE WHICH YE HAVE LEARNED" Romans 16: 17. http://www.anglican.ca/news/news.php? newsItem=2007-04-16_abc.news ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY - CHURCH NEEDS TO LISTEN PROPERLY TO THE BIBLE 16 April 2007 (Edited by DCB) Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, in giving his "Larkin Stuart lecture" spoke of the "savage and menacing beast called a 'fundamentalist'". Later in his talk he gave "Two contentious examples" in the Scriptures. One was John 14: 6 where he said "Jesus says in the Farewell Discourses of John's Gospel that 'no-one comes to the Father except by me'. As an isolated text, this is regularly used to insist that salvation depends upon explicit confession of Christ, and so as a refutation of any attempt to create a more 'inclusive' theology of interfaith relations." The second "contentious" passage according to Williams is Romans One. Williams said "Paul in the first chapter of Romans famously uses

same-sex relationships as an illustration of human depravity -- along with other 'unnatural' behaviours such as scandal, disobedience to parents and lack of pity." The answer is found in chapter Two according to Williams and he says "Paul is making a primary point not about homosexuality but about the delusions of the supposedly law-abiding."

Editor’s Comment: Jude 4 "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ."

2Thessalonians 3:14 "AND IF ANY MAN OBEY NOT OUR WORD BY THIS EPISTLE, NOTE THAT MAN, AND HAVE NO COMPANY WITH HIM, THAT HE MAY BE ASHAMED." I personally had never heard of Ten Commandments Day until the 18th of April when I received an unsolicited email stating Ten Commandments Day would be observed by many in the USA on Sunday the 6th May, 2007. With an inquisitive mind I went to http://tencommandmentsday.com/read.php?id=15 and found that its promoters are a patch- work of ecumenical high flyers. At this web site names such as Chuck Colson, James Dobson, John Hagee and Jerry Falwell are listed along with others. Then at http://tencommandmentsday.com/10CDay. php other names given as being "involved with the Ten Commandments Day include" TBN’s Paul Crouch, Benny Hinn, Marilyn Hickey, and James Kennedy.

Editor’s Comment: I wonder if Falwell or Kennedy ever get convicted that the Lord might be asking them "What doest thou here" 1Kings 19:9?

Because of Calvary,

David C. Bennett, D. Min.
