(1) YEARLY BIBLE READING
at 85 verses per day to cover the entire Bible. These are in MP3 format and can be played ONLY on an MP3 player, or on your computer. Perhaps later I will be able to put them in either a CD format or a DVD format where they can be played on other media as well, but these are not ready now. For many years I have had the YEARLY BIBLE READING and YEARLY BIBLE COMMENTS on 43 two-hour audio cassettes for the READING and on 21 two-hour audio cassettes for the COMMENTS. These were expensive to copy and make available, but this MP3 method takes much less time, much less space, and much less cost to produce. I am sure these are not perfect, but I hope they will be of help to you as you seek to read God's Words in the King James Bible and, if you wish, to listen to my brief comments on each 85-verse section during the new year and each year thereafter. I have been reading in this manner shortly after I was saved in 1944. I began my yearly Bible reading in January, 1945, as a young Christian of 17, when my pastor urged his congregation to finish the Bible during 1946. God has enriched my life and ministry because of it. I hope He will do the same for you. The cost is $15 for the Reading and $15 for the Comments or both for only $25.00 plus $3.00 S&H. Sincerely yours
for God's Words,
A LOCAL CHURCH PRIMER
A NEEDED LETTER. As a new local church was being formed in the important city
of Ephesus, it was important to have it founded properly. Paul evidently felt
that one of the first pastors of that church should be his friend Timothy.
Though trained personally by Paul, Timothy was relatively young and
inexperienced in leading this church in a Biblical manner. To meet this need,
Paul wrote both 1 Timothy and 2 Timothy. This letter is just as much needed
today as an instruction to local churches as it was in Timothy's day.
AN ENCOURAGING LETTER. Throughout the book, Paul sought to encourage Timothy in any way possible. Paul told Timothy, in a balanced way, about all the various doctrines of the Christian faith and encouraged him to preach and teach these doctrines without fear or favor. He made it clear that the Lord Jesus Christ died for the sins of the entire world and that Timothy was to proclaim this gospel message clearly, simply, and yet Scripturally. With all of his encouragement, Paul did not hide from Timothy the rigors and requirements for a faithful local-church ministry. A REPROVING LETTER. Along with the encouragement, and with many other important matters, Paul listed a total of fourteen qualifications for the office of a pastor/bishop/elder. In addition to these, Paul enumerated sixteen requirements for deacons. When comparing the thirty stipulations for these two important local church offices with those who occupy such offices today, it becomes obvious that most of these thirty obligations are absent today. This is a much-needed reproof for our day. BFT3085BK ISBN #1-56848-055-5
The
NEED. There is a vital need for a book to inform sincere Bible-believing
Christians about the proper techniques of translating the WORDS of God into the
receptor languages of the world. No book like this one has ever been written.
It is a unique and much-needed book. The TEXTS. The very first requirement for any translation of the Bible is to have the proper WORDS of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek from which to translate. It is the contention of this book that the original verbally and plenarily inspired Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek WORDS have been verbally and plenarily preserved in accordance with God's promises. These preserved WORDS are those received-text-WORDS which underlie the King James Bible. The TECHNIQUE. This volume empha- sizes the requirement of a proper technique to be used in all translations of God's WORDS. It must be done in a verbally and plenarily translation technique. That is, the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek WORDS must be conveyed into the receptor languages, not merely the ideas, concepts, thoughts, or message. This technique is absent in all of the other manuals on Bible translation. The SKILL. Dr. Williams is not the usual sort of writer. He combines the meticulous skill of a Doctor of Medicine with the artistry and acumen of a Doctor of Philosophy to produce this grand volume. May this important book be used by translators and sincere Christians of all persuasions and professions worldwide!
The
Importance of This BookThe Author. Dr. J. A. Moorman has been a missionary for many years. He began his missionary service in South Africa. Presently he is in London, England. He serves as the Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church located in the Wimbledon area of London at present. In addition to pastoring, he has written, printed, and distributed thousands of gospel tracts in English in the streets of London and in other languages in Europe. He has spent time each day in research on the subject of the Bible and its texts. The Bible For Today and /or the Dean Burgon Society have produced fourteen titles on the Bible's textual foundation during these past years. The Background. Dr. Moorman was burdened to begin his laborious research on the differences between the critical Greek Words of Nestle/Aland (26th and 27th editions) as compared to the Textus Receptus Greek Words underlying the King James Bible. He was convinced that there were hundreds of differences, but discovered that there were, not hundreds, but thousands of differences. Because those who follow the Critical Text have told their constituencies that such differences are minimal, this book is a valiant attempt to "set the record straight." The Original Format. Originally, this book was in a 536-page PDF format on 8.5" by 11" paper. It was copied and bound by the Quickbind process. It has been used by Bible translators in various languages to see what places to look for in order to conform their translations to the Traditional Received Greek Words of the King James Bible. It is hoped that hundreds of translators, teachers, students, and pastors will make good use of this present and more durable format to produce accurate New Testament translations of the proper Greek Words.

BJU's Errors on Bible Preservation Error on "Bible." The first ERROR in Bible
Preservation and the Providence of God (BPPG) deals with their
meaning of "Bible." Originally the "Bible" was made up of Hebrew,
Aramaic, and Greek "Words." These "Words" were "preserved" and
should be the foundation for all Bible translations. The authors'
present "Bible" is not made up of its original "Words" but only of
its message, thoughts, ideas, concepts, truth, doctrine, or
revelation. The Error on "Preservation." The second ERROR in the BPPG book deals with the authors' meaning of "preservation" and "preserved." These two writers from Bob Jones University (BJU) deny that God's original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek "Words" have been preserved, but only their message, thoughts, ideas, concepts, truth, doctrine, or revelation. The Error on "Word." The third ERROR in the BPPG book deals with the authors' meaning of "Word." In the Bible, the "Word of God" and the "Words of God" refer to the same thing (Psalm 119:11). The writers in the BPPG book have altered this meaning without telling the readers. When they write that "the Word of God has been preserved" (p. 97), they refer only to the preservation of the Bible's message, thoughts, ideas, concepts, truth, doctrine, or revelation, but not its original "Words."
The Theology of Salvation. Chapters four through eight of Romans tell of God’s gracious salvation which He has provided for all mankind. First, God considers all people in the world as sinners. Second, God sent His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to take in His own sinless body the sins of the world. Third, God declares absolutely just and righteous all those sinners who accept and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Fourth, God provides for those justified, righteous saints an eternal Home in Heaven. The Theology of Dispensationalism. Chapters nine through eleven teach clearly that there is a vast difference between the nation of Israel and the believers in this church age. These chapters present Israel’s past, present and future. This contradicts those who teach that the promises to Israel are fulfilled in the Church. The Lord will remove all the saved ones in the rapture before the Tribulation, and then return to set up His 1,000-year Millennial Reign. Chapters twelve to sixteen urge practical living for today in this age of grace.
OVER
FOUR HUNDRED POEMS There are over four hundred (400) ORIGINAL poems in this collection, with many Scripture verses and sketches, plus a few family pictures. For the most part, each poem has its own page, though sometimes one poem has two pages. The book consists of twenty-seven folios on subjects such as "Tears," "The Bible," "The Incarnation," "The Saviour," "The Shepherd," "Calvary," "Christ's Session," "Christ's Second Coming," and "Christ's First Coming." Then there are poems about death & Heaven, God's will & prayer, and poems about her children, her losses & griefs. Mrs. Sanborn experienced sorrow with the illnesses of her three daughters--one was hospitalized as a young child for three years, one died of Hodgkin's disease at the age of twenty, and one was brain-injured at birth. Instead of fleeing from God, she ran to Him and to His Words. Take her poems with you in your distresses and find comfort!. These poems are written by a devoted Bible-believing Christian with deep spiritual discernment and a great skill as a poet. These poems will be a blessing to you and your family. Gertrude Sanborn wrote about her life and all that made up that
life--her longings, her disappointments, and her deep desires. She spoke
of her family--her parents, her children, her husband. Friends enjoyed her
words. At birthdays or special occasions, she would bring a poem as a
treasured gift. After a sermon, she would pen her gleanings. In despair,
her pen met the page. In happiness, her days were recorded. As we read her
writings, we feel her needs and witness her answered prayers. Most of all,
she revealed her love of the Lord Jesus Christ and her devotion to the
Scripture.
Let No Man Deceive You Deception on "Word." The first DECEPTION in the book, God's Word in Our Hands (GWIH) deals with their meaning of "Word." The Bible uses the terms "Word of God" and "Words of God" with the same meaning. The writers in the GWIH book have altered this identity without telling the readers. They use it to mean only the "message, thoughts, ideas, concepts, truth, doctrine, or revelation" of the Bible, but not the "Words" of the Bible. Deception on "Preservation." The second DECEPTION in the GWIH book deals with their meaning of "Preservation." The Managing Editor of the book, suggested "perpetuation" for "preservation." That which is "perpetuated" is not necessarily "preserved." The writers deny that God's Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek "Words" of the Bible have been preserved, but only His "Word," meaning only the "message, thoughts, ideas, concepts, truth, doctrine, or revelation" of the Bible. Deception on the "Bible.. The third DECEPTION in the GWIH book deals with their meaning of the "Bible." Most Bible-believing Christians understand the "Bible" to be made up originally with Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek "Words" and that these "Words" have been "preserved" to form the basis of Bible translations all around the world. Their "Bible" is not made up of "Words" but only the "message, thoughts, ideas, concepts, truth, doctrine, or revelation" of the Bible. What kind of a "Bible" is that, and what kind of "Preservation" is that?
Powerful Evidence The Fundamentalist Christian world is deeply divided as to the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek Words of the Bible. A large and vocal segment of the Fundamentalist world has denied that God even "promised" to preserve these Words. Because of this, they also deny that He has in fact preserved these Words to this day. In articles, speeches, books, or in other ways, many leading Bible
schools, seminaries and their representatives have held this false
position. Surprisingly, several Fundamentalist schools have adopted this
false view, and teach it in their classrooms. This false position must
be countered by the significant evidence found in this volume. We urge you to make the book available to Pastors, teachers, seminary students, colleges, seminaries, universities, and Christians of all walks of life. "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32).
FUZZY FACTS takes up a total of 265 "fuzzy facts" found in this One Bible Only? book. These are only purported "facts," but when examined closely, they are not "facts" at all, but erroneous opinions. Central Seminary only parrots the line of three of the other "major" Fundamentalists institutions. All four of these schools are in serious error regarding the Bible's texts and proper translation, namely, Bob Jones University, Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary. The key error from these four Fundamentalist institutions lies in their denial of the proper Biblical doctrine of Bible Preservation. Not only do these groups deny that God has preserved the Bible's Hebrew and Greek Words, but they also deny that God even promised to preserve those Hebrew and Greek Words which were originally given. The author is a medical doctor, now retired, who has researched this important topic thoroughly. Though he has not had the benefit of formal theological or seminary training, he has proved to one and all that so-called "lay" people who have a desire to understand this important subject can do so by diligent study, as Dr. Williams has done. May the Lord Jesus Christ use and honor this study in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. It should be in every layman's library, every Pastor's library, every church library, every college library, every university library, and in every theological seminary library.
